Who makes up our team?

University of Ferrara Team of Specialists in Orthodontics
The great F22 team comprises several different work areas. Serious and committed professionals are placed at the dentist’s disposal to ensure that he or she can provide specialist advice to their patients and all-round top quality. From design to manufacture and quality control right up to preparing the complete aligner package that patients receive at their dentist’s office: everything is done in-house.A quality chain that never misses a beat, through regular, effective collaboration that aims to provide a product like no other on the market. Almost as if it were a tailor-made suit sewn to one’s needs by the best tailors in the industry.

Giuseppe Siciliani

After earning his degree in Medicine from La Sapienza University in Rome, he specialised in Odontostomatology and took a research post at the same university in 1981. In 1988, he was appointed Associate Professor at the Tor Vergata University in Rome and in 1990, Full Professor at the University of Ferrara. In 1991, he was elected Chair of the Degree Program in Dentistry at the University of Ferrara, where from 1993 to 2020 he was Director of the School of Specialisation in Orthodontics. In 2004 he was elected President of SIDO [Italian Orthodontic Society] and in 2008 of the Italian Academy of Orthodontics. He is currently Professor Emeritus at the University of Ferrara.

Luca Lombardo

Having earned his degree in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from the University of Palermo in 2004, in 2007, he specialised in Orthodontics at the University of Ferrara, where he was awarded a research fellowship from 2005 to 2011 and where he became an Adjunct Professor in 2010. From 2012 to 2019 he was Research Fellow at the University of Ferrara and member of the European Board of Orthodontics. In April 2019, he became an Associate Professor at the University of Ferrara. Since that same year, he has been Director of the School of Specialisation in Orthodontics at the University of Ferrara, where he has also been the Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics Degree Programme Coordinator since 2021. He has published several papers in national and international journals. He is often invited to speak at national and international conferences. 2012 President of ASIO [Italian Association of Orthodontic Specialists] and 2013 President of AIOL [Italian Association of Lingual Orthodontics]. SIDO member, Full member of AIDOR [Italian Academy of Orthodontics] and WSLO [World Society of Lingual Orthodontics] and Active member at ASE [Angle Society of Europe]. President of AIDOR for the year 2018.

Angela Arreghini

Having earned her degree, with top marks and honours, in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from the University of Padua in 2007, in 2012, she specialised in Orthodontics again with honours at the University of Ferrara, where, in 2013, she was also awarded a full scholarship and was assigned a research fellowship from 2014 until 2017. At Ferrara, she currently holds the post of Adjunct Professor of the Instruction of Orthodontics in the Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics Degree Programme and at the School of Specialisation in Orthodontics since 2014. She has published several papers in national and international journals and speaks at conferences on Orthodontics. She was awarded the IBOA (Italian Board of Orthodontic Aligner) certificate in 2021. Angela is an active member of the Italian Academy of Orthodontics, and Chair of the Italian Aligners Society for the two-year period 2022-2023.

Roberto Barbarulo

In 2010, he graduated with a Master’s Degree in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from the University of Sassari with marks of 110/110 cum laude, and a thesis dissertation on orthodontic-surgical issues entitled: “Multidisciplinary orthodontic-surgical approach for the treatment of patients affected by dentofacial deformities”. In 2015, he specialised in Orthodontics with top marks and honours at the School of Specialisation in Orthodontics at the University of Ferrara under the Director, Prof. Giuseppe Siciliani. In 2018, he earned a Level II University Master’s Degree in PROSTHETICS AND IMPLANT PROSTHETICS WITH ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES – under Prof. R. Scotti – University of Bologna – Alma Mater Studiorum, with top marks of 30/30 with honours. In 2021, he was awarded IBOA Certification: Italian Board of Orthodontic Aligners. He provides consultancy in Conservative, Reconstructive, Prosthetic and Aesthetic Dentistry with a focus on Digital Planning. He works with child and adult orthodontics using traditional and aesthetic techniques, lingual orthodontics, and transparent aligners.

Francesca Cervinara

She earned her degree in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics with marks of 110/110 cum laude from the University of Bari on 28 April 2014. She was qualified with a licence to practice at the same university and is registered with the Order of Physicians, Surgeons, and Dentists of Bari.She earned a three-year, Level II University Master’s Degree in Orthodontic Science on 24 February 2017 at the University of Ferrara with top marks and publication of her thesis. She also specialised in Orthodontics at the University of Ferrara in April 2020 with marks of 50/50 cum laude and the publication of her thesis.She is a self-employed professional in Bari.

Francesca Cremonini

She received her degree in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics in July 2017 from the University of Ferrara, with marks of 110/110 cum laude, and an experimental thesis entitled: “Tooth whitening associated with orthodontic treatment with F22 aligners”.
She specialised in Orthodontics at Ferrara in December 2020 with marks of 50/50 with honours and another experimental thesis entitled: “F22 KIDS: skeletal and dental effects in the treatment of growing patients with Class II malocclusion”. Currently she is studying at the School of Specialisation under a research scholarship, whilst she practises as a self-employed professional, working mainly in Orthodontics, in the province of Modena.
She an author of several papers published in national and international journals.

Teresa Oliverio

She was president of SIALIGN, the Italian Society of Aligners, over the 2020 and 2021 two-year period. In 2009, she received her degree with honours in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from the University of Ferrara, where, in 2013, she specialised with honours in Orthodontics. She is currently an Adjunct Professor of Orthodontics in the Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics Degree Programme at the University of Ferrara, where she is also a Clinical Tutor at the School of Specialisation in Orthodontics. ASIO member, she is a self-employed professional practising exclusively in Orthodontics in Emilia Romagna and Lombardy. In December 2018, she obtained IBOA, [Italian Board of Orthodontic Aligners] certification. Author of scientific articles and co-author of the text “F22 Aligners: From Research to the Clinic.”

Mario Palone

In July 2017 he graduated with a degree in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from the University of Ferrara with marks of 110/110 cum laude. The subject of his experimental thesis in Orthodontics is currently in press. He was also qualified to practise, with top marks of 70/70, at the University of Ferrara, where he also specialised in Orthodontics in 2021 with marks of 50/50 cum laude. He is enrolled in the Order of physicians, Surgeons, and Dentists of Vicenza. He is a self-employed professional, with his practise in Vicenza and its province.

Fabio Ramina

Graduated in July 2017 in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from the University of Ferrara with a score of 110/110 cum laude with an experimental thesis in Orthodontics; the topic of the thesis is subject to publication. He obtained the qualification to practice the profession from the same university with a score of 70/70. Specialist in Orthodontics at the University of Ferrara in 2021 with a score of 50/50 and honours. Private practice in Vicenza.

Antonella Carlucci

Degree in Dentistry and Dental Prosthesis from the University of Cagliari in 2009.

Second Level Master’s Degree in Multidisciplinary Clinical Orthodontics from La Sapienza University of Rome in 2010.

Specialist in Orthodontics from the School of Specialization in Orthodontics of Ferrara in 2014.

Research Fellow at the University of Ferrara, School of Specialization in Orthodontics, from 2013 to 2017.

Treasurer of the AIOL (Italian Association of Lingual Orthodontics) from 2013 to 2016.
